Analysts are becoming increasingly positive on several Canadian stocks, with recent price-target increases highlighting companies that could offer further upside. While the broader market remains sensitive to interest rates, commodity prices and economic uncertainty, rising analyst targets can provide an important signal that expectations for earnings and future growth are improving.

Three TSX-listed stocks stand out from the latest analyst revisions: Royal Bank of Canada (RY:CA), Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ:CA), and Advantage Energy (AAV:CA).

Royal Bank of Canada (RY:CA) continues to attract strong analyst support. Canaccord Genuity recently raised its target to C$318 from C$310, while Scotiabank increased its target to C$312 from C$311 and National Bank raised its target to C$321 from C$318, all maintaining positive ratings. Although TD Securities trimmed its target slightly to C$306, it maintained a Buy rating. RBC’s fundamentals remain strong, as analyst sentiment is clearly positive, and the latest target revisions point toward continued confidence.

Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ:CA) is another stock receiving positive attention, with CIBC raising its price target to C$75 from C$70 while maintaining an Outperform rating. The company remains one of Canada’s largest and most financially powerful energy producers, giving investors significant exposure to oil prices and energy-sector cash flow. A sustained recovery in crude prices could provide additional support for earnings, free cash flow and shareholder returns.

Advantage Energy (AAV:CA) is also seeing improving analyst expectations. TD Securities raised its target to C$15 from C$14 and maintained a Buy rating, while Scotiabank subsequently assigned a C$15.50 target with an Outperform rating. The positive revisions suggest growing confidence in the company’s natural gas-focused operations and its ability to benefit from improving commodity-market conditions.

Taken together, these three stocks highlight three important areas of the Canadian market: financials, energy and natural gas. Rising price targets do not guarantee future gains, but they indicate that analysts are reassessing earnings potential and valuation more favourably. For investors looking for Canadian stocks with improving analyst sentiment, these names are worth watching as the market enters the final months of 2026.
