Tesla Inc. (TSLA) Barclays Believes Stock is Currently Overvalued $360 Target Forecast

Global Markets

Canadian Markets

Canadian stocks jumped over 1%, with the TSX Composite Index lifted by strength in the mining sector, as higher gold prices helped offset broader risk concerns. Positive investor sentiment was also further supported by data showing that Canada’s October Services PMI expanded for the first time in 2025, signaling improving business activity and early signs of economic stabilization in the services sector.

American Markets

US stocks rose,  although concerns lingered over lofty valuations in artificial intelligence–related stocks, which have recently faced continued scrutiny from analysts and institutional investors. Economic data provided some reassurance as the ADP employment report showed a return to private sector job growth in October, suggesting labour market resilience despite soft spots elsewhere in the economy.

European Markets

European markets posted gains after an early pullback. Germany’s Services PMI came in at 54.6, slightly above expectations of 54.5, underscoring steady growth in Europe’s largest economy. A survey showed German auto sector sentiment improving markedly in October, while industrial orders rose more than forecast in September, supporting optimism for continued recovery in manufacturing. France’s services sector contracted for the 14th consecutive month, highlighting persistent weakness, while Italy’s retail sales slipped 0.5% month-over-month in September, reflecting weak consumer spending.

UK’s FTSE 100 Index notched a record close, however sentiment was clouded by renewed concerns over potential tax increases ahead of the government’s new budget. Marks & Spencer’s CEO commented that the Chancellor’s pre-Budget remarks had intensified consumer concerns over the possibility of negative fiscal changes, with many expecting the worst of outcomes.
